Maag Group (“Maag”) designs, manufactures, distributes and services highly engineered polymer and compounding pumps, extrusion pumps, pelletisers, screen changers, filtration systems and high-end industrial pumps and related equipment.  Operating under the Maag brand, the product line primarily serves the polymer industry and other diverse manufacturing end-use applications such as the petroleum, chemical, extrusion and rubber industries. A robust aftermarket revenue stream has been provided by Maag developing strong relationships with its blue-chip customers including Exxon, Dow, Coperion, Bruckner, Kuhne and Zimmer.

In May 2010, Maag Pumps Systems merged with
Automatik Plastics Machinery (APM), the Frankfurt based pelletiser
manufacturer. This was the first stage in the CBC-driven buy and build strategy. The strong commercial fit and complementary product offering unlocked new geographical markets, broadened the product portfolio, increased global sales & service capability and transitioned the business to a one-stop-shop for highly engineered pumping solutions and pelletisers.

CBC Fund II completed the divestment of Maag to Dover Corporation in March 2012.
