Stewart Macintosh

Career History

Stewart graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a BSC (Hons) in Technology in Business Studies before beginning his career in 2001 with KPMG in Glasgow, working in Audit. After qualifying as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland he moved to London with KPMG in 2005 and spent two and a half years in transaction services, working on buy side, sell side and IPO engagements for a range of corporate and private equity clients.

In 2007, Stewart moved to the Bank of Scotland Corporate’s London Leveraged Finance team where he worked with private equity sponsors in assessing and structuring leveraged transactions across a number of sectors.

Stewart joined CBC in 2009 as an Investment Analyst, was promoted to Associate Director in 2010 and to Investment Director 2 years later in 2012.

At CBC, Stewart’s initial responsibilities focused on the Fund II assets acquired from Textron, working closely with Maag Pump Systems and David Brown Gear Systems. He has since been heavily involved in originating and executing new bolt-on and platform acquisitions across both CBC II and CBC III. He is a board member of David Brown Gear Systems and Santasalo.
